Barcelona Stun PSG in Champions League Thriller

Luis Enrique Returns to Haunt Former Club

Kylian Mbappe Double Not Enough as Barca Advance

Barcelona, Spain - Luis Enrique returned to the Camp Nou as an opposing manager on Wednesday night and led his Paris Saint-Germain side to a thrilling 4-1 victory over his former club. However, the result was not enough to prevent Barcelona from advancing to the Champions League semi-finals on aggregate, having won the first leg 3-1.

Despite going behind to a Kylian Mbappe goal in the 31st minute, Barcelona rallied to score three goals in the second half through Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Philippe Coutinho. Mbappe scored again in the 65th minute to give PSG hope, but Barcelona held on to secure a 5-3 aggregate victory.

The result is a huge boost for Barcelona, who are now just two games away from winning their first Champions League title since 2015. It is also a major disappointment for PSG, who were heavily favored to reach the semi-finals after their impressive performance in the first leg.

Enrique was clearly emotional after the match, having guided PSG to a famous victory but ultimately falling short of his ultimate goal of reaching the last four. "I'm very proud of my players," Enrique said. "We played with great heart and determination, but Barcelona were the better team on the night. They deserved to win.

Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde was delighted with his team's performance. "We knew it would be a difficult game, but we never gave up," Valverde said. "We showed great character and resilience to come back from behind and win the game. We're very happy to be in the semi-finals."

Barcelona will now face either Manchester City or Tottenham Hotspur in the semi-finals. The first leg of the tie will be played on April 24th, with the second leg taking place on May 1st.
